Grenoble Summer School
set cell vertical height This summer, enhance your business education, experience French culture and socialize with people from around the world in Grenoble, France.

Program Dates:  May 21st - June 13th 2009

                     July 3rd - July 30th 2009 (European Track only)


$4,350 (undergraduates) and $4,700 (graduates)


Registration Deadline:
March 1, 2009 (Applications will be accepted after this date if there are available spots).

Eligibility: The program is open to undergraduate business students and graduate students from the University of Memphis or any accredited public or private university

Housing and Board: Participants will stay in double occupancy rooms which are located between 5-15 minutes walking distance from the school. Breakfast will be provided everyday.

Travel Arrangements: A french student visa is required for all US passport holders. if you are not a US citizen, please contact the study abroad office for information on how to apply for a visa. The study abroad office will assist students with all travel arrangements. Students will need a valid US passport. If you do not have a passport, apply as soon as possible. The passport application can be downloaded at http://travel.state.gov

Courses: Participants are required to choose one the three tracks listed below. Students will enroll in survival French in addition to the courses chosen.

Program Fees and Refund Policy:
The program fee is $4,350 for undergraduates and $4,700 for graduate students and includes, housing, tuition at the Grenoble School of Management, $350 application fee, and field trips. The program fees do not include airfare, insurance, meals (except for those listed in the program) and personal expenses.
A non-refundable deposit of $350 is due by March 1, 2009. Payment should be made at the Study Abroad Office, 102 Brister Hall.

There will be a 50% refund of the program fees (not including the deposit) if notification of withdrawal is made before May 6, 2009. No refunds will be made for withdrawals after May 6, 2009. Cancellations should be in writing and are only effective upon date of receipt of written notification. Should the University of Memphis decide to cancel the program, there will be a full refund of all fees paid.

Scholarships: Scholarships for U of M students are available through the Study Abroad Office, 102 Brister Hall. Applications may be obtained at that office or downloaded at http://www.memphis.edu/abroad/scholarships.php
