Application Process: In addition to completing the University of Memphis application, students should also complete the Liverpool Hope application, available for download here and pay the $350 application fee online.

Program Description: Liverpool Hope is a liberal arts university with a proud tradition of over 165 years in higher education.  You would be welcomed into a collegiate community of around 7500 students.  A place where professors know students by name, with an average class size of 20.

Liverpool the city has just celebrated its’ 800th birthday.  It’s one of the UK’s most popular student cities with some 60,000 students at the last count.  Students find the city welcoming; it’s an exciting and safe environment to live, study and enjoy.  Liverpool has a wealth of cultural offerings with more museums and art galleries than any other city in the U.K outside London, as well as world-class concert halls and theatres.  For those looking for something different Liverpool is also home to two of the most successful football (soccer) teams in Europe: Liverpool and Everton, and a wealth of nightlife and shopping! 

Program Fees and Refund Policy: The program fee is £4700 for one semester and £9,200 for the academic year. The program fee includes tuition, accommodations, five meals/week, airport pick-up, student ID card and application fee.The program fees do not include international travel, medical insurance or personal expenses. A non-refundable deposit of $350 is due by April 1 to secure your place for fall semester or academic year programs and October 15 for spring semester programs. Please submit you payment to the Study Abroad Office located at 102 Brister Hall. If you are a U of M student, you can pay the deposit online here.

Fees with the exception of the deposit will be refunded in full if notification is received 90 days before the program start date. Withdrawals up to 45 days prior to the program will incur a charge of $500. Withdrawals up to 20 days before the program will incur a charge of 50% of the program fees. All other withdrawals within 20 days or less will incur a charge of 75% of the program fees. In addition to these fees any unrecoverable expenses will be billed to the student. Cancellations should be in writing and are only effective upon date of receipt of written notification. Should the University decide to cancel the program, there will be a full refund of all fees paid.
