• Dr. John Amis is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management who also holds a courtesy appointment in the Department of Health and Sport Sciences at The University of Memphis.
  
  
• Dr. David Andrews is a Professor in the Department of Kinesiology at the University of Maryland at College Park.
  
  
• Dr. Michael Silk is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Bath in England.

These faculty were responsible for running successful previous programs to London (2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010), and Sydney (2001).

All of the program leaders hold degrees from universities in the United Kingdom and North America, and all are citizens of the United Kingdom. Each has lived, worked, studied, lectured and conducted research throughout Europe, North America, and Australasia. Their areas of academic expertise and research include the social, cultural and managerial aspects of the global sports industry wherein all have presented and published their work extensively.
