Stephanie Johnson has a passion for helping others.  This is demonstrated as she advises and guides undeclared students toward their major and career choices.  To help freshman students make a smoother transition from high school to college, Stephanie supports ACAD and is an instructor for the program. 

In the Academic Counseling Center, Stephanie is a senior advisor.  The knowledge she gains from her students and colleagues across campus is invaluable and has helped her grow as an advisor.  Stephanie is a Distinguished Advising Award recipient, a National Certified Counselor, and NACADA member.

In 2007, she was part of a wonderful team who presented at a NACADA conference on "How to Host a Discover Your Major Day Event." This presentation was voted best of region by conference attendees. 

Stephanie has a Master of Science in Counseling from the University of Memphis. Her favorite quote is “You must be the change you wish to see in the world.”- Mohandas Gandhi
