MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR OUR:

COMMUNITY REUTILIZATION AND NETWORKING INFORMATIONAL MEETING

Location:  Orange Mound Community Center

Date: June 7, 2012

Time:  10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Mid-South ACT will be at the Orange Mound Community Center for the Reutilization Information and Networking Program Meeting on June 7th, aiming to benefit the lives of senior citizens and people with disabilities, and we would love to have you attend.

As a non-profit organization dedicated to informing, educating and promoting awareness about assistive technology for citizens of the Mid-South, we aim for the June 18 event to increase the familiarity with our Reutilization Program.

Working in conjunction with Tennessee Technology Access Program's Reutilization Information Program, we strive to promote donation, repair and reuse of technology and durable medical equipment for senior citizens and individuals with disabilities. By reutilizing equipment, whether it is for home, work or school, more citizens will have an opportunity to use the equipment that allows them to be more independent and achieve a higher quality of life.

Attendees of the event will learn how equipment is reutilized through donations, acquisitions and refurbishment. There will also be vendors and various individuals on hand to provide demonstrations and resource materials on assistive technology devices and applications. Door prizes, drawings and refreshments will be available.

Senior citizens are strongly encouraged to attend. If special accommodations are necessary, please contact Mid-South ACT by May 31st. See below for our registration information and flyer link.
