The Office of Academic Transfer and Articulation helps undergraduate transfer students
determine how courses taken at other institutions will apply at The University of
Memphis.
We offer many services for prospective students, applicants, admitted students, and
enrolled students...just take a look how we can help you along in your transfer process!
Services for Pre Transfer Students / Applicants
Transfer Center The Transfer Center located in the Center for Academic Transition works primarily
with students from Tennessee Board of Regents community colleges who are interested
in transferring to the University of Memphis. Services include individual academic
counseling, applicant follow-up, and serve as a point of contact for counselors and
staff at community college.
Transition Thursdays Pre transfer students get the answers to transfer questions and more on the first at 1:00 PM and third Thursday at 1:30 PM of each month until 4:00 PM during Transition Tuesdays Program at Wilder Tower, Room
101. Representatives from the Office of Academic Transfer and Articulation will be
available to answer any other questions prospective students might have. After the
tour, Advisors in undergraduate academic services will be available for a brief advising
session to help with your academic plans. Students may bring an unofficial copy of
their transcript for each college attended. The adviser will not be able to do an
evaluation of all transfer credits, but will be able to look over the record and perhaps
recommend courses to take before you transfer. The advisers in Undergraduate Academic
Services are familiar with the admission and graduation requirements of all U of M
majors and can help students consider options. Click here to make a reservation.
