I chose the University of Memphis because of the academic scholarship that I received, but some of my most memorable experiences have been through my student involvement--raising money for the kids of St. Jude through Up 'til Dawn, welcoming new freshmen as a Frosh Camp counselor, and gaining leadership skills through my Greek fraternity.

Information on the Border County Tuition Waiver

In an effort to accommodate students from neighboring counties in Arkansas and Mississippi, the University of Memphis will consider any student, who meets eligibility requirements, for in-state tuition. Please read the criteria below to determine if you may qualify for this waiver. Please note: The border county tuition waiver is determined primarily from information provided on the application for admission. Additional documentation may be requested by the Office of Admissions.

Undergraduate Applicants

Graduate Applicants

Law Applicants

NOTE: Students on non-immigrant visas are not eligible for the Border County Tuition Waiver.
