Expressing myself at the U of M has been awesome. I have had the opportunity to do research within my major on finding a way to turn off lysophosphatidic acid 2 receptors found in cancer. It is through my research that I am able to join the medical community in searching for a cure for cancer.

Information on the Border County Tuition Waiver

In an effort to accommodate students from neighboring counties in Arkansas and Mississippi, the University of Memphis will consider any student, who meets eligibility requirements, for in-state tuition. Please read the criteria below to determine if you may qualify for this waiver. Please note: The border county tuition waiver is determined primarily from information provided on the application for admission. Additional documentation may be requested by the Office of Admissions.

Undergraduate Applicants

Graduate Applicants

Law Applicants

NOTE: Students on non-immigrant visas are not eligible for the Border County Tuition Waiver.
