Some of the many ways that I am able to express myself at the U of M are through my major and involvement in student organizations. Memphis is an amazing place to study music, and my position on the Student Activities Council has given me opportunities to interact with performers from all over!

Information on I-20 Documents and Visas

Upon being admitted to the University of Memphis as an international student, you will be sent an I-20 form which will include your Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) assigned number. The SEVIS number is necessary to assist you in receiving a visa. The International Student Office (ISO) at the University of Memphis will send the I-20 form to the permanent address provided on your application for admission. In order to expedite receiving your SEVIS number, you are welcome to e-mail the ISO at csnunis@memphis.edu. You are required to have this number in hand prior to scheduling a meeting with an American embassy or consulate.

For a comprehensive listing of questions and answers regarding visa requirements, please check the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs web site.
