History with a Minor in English

The U of M offered everything that I was searching for: plenty of majors to choose from, a beautiful campus, a real university community, and a great sports program for a sports fanatic like me. Not a day goes by that I am not proud to call myself a Memphis Tiger!

Information on I-20 Documents and Visas

Upon being admitted to the University of Memphis as an international student, you will be sent an I-20 form which will include your Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) assigned number. The SEVIS number is necessary to assist you in receiving a visa. The International Student Office (ISO) at the University of Memphis will send the I-20 form to the permanent address provided on your application for admission. In order to expedite receiving your SEVIS number, you are welcome to e-mail the ISO at csnunis@memphis.edu. You are required to have this number in hand prior to scheduling a meeting with an American embassy or consulate.

For a comprehensive listing of questions and answers regarding visa requirements, please check the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs web site.
