Annual Fund

The University of Memphis Annual Fund strives to provide a vital source of unrestricted support for the University, its schools and colleges, and academic programs. Gifts made through the Annual Fund help to offset the reductions in state support, offer scholarship to deserving students, attract and retain distinguished faculty, support University initiatives, and help where the need is greatest. All gifts to the University of Memphis ensure that the University continues to strive for excellence, add value to the degrees our alumni hold, and uphold its reputation.

Participation is our number one goal. When the University approaches corporations and foundations for their support they often inquire about the level of participation from our alumni and friends, faculty and staff, parents, and current students. The higher their participation levels, the more likely the corporations and foundations are to get involved. Also, higher levels of participation give us the competitive edge we need for rankings in publications such as the U.S. News and World Report. Your gift, no matter the amount, shows that you believe in the mission of providing this University's students with the best possible education and experiences.

When you make a gift through the Annual Fund, you can designate your gift to any school or college, department, or academic program on campus. The Academic Fund is an unrestricted fund which allows your gift to be directed to an area at the University with a critical need. Wherever you choose to designate your gift, you are truly making a difference.

Our fiscal year runs July 1 to June 30. Our goal is to connect with you at least once during a fiscal year. Once you make a gift through the Annual Fund, you will be mailed a receipt for your tax purposes.
