The University of Memphis Advancement Division fosters mutually beneficial relationships with alumni, friends, donors, and civic and corporate partners. Our Development unit coordinates and implements fundraising programs through annual giving, major and planned gifts. Our comprehensive Alumni & Constituent Relations program promotes lifelong meaningful connections between alumni and their alma mater and engages community friends and supporters.  In partnership with and under the auspices of the University of Memphis Foundation, the division maintains, stewards and invests private resources and distributes them to University programs in accordance with donor directives. 

The Advancement Division takes pride in the continued growth of fundraising and alumni participation, currently at an institutional high.  We continue to build fundraising capacity, to provide exceptional donor relations and stewardship, to inspire and cultivate alumni affinity and involvement, and to enhance the image and reputation of the University of Memphis.
