Starting in the Fall 2008 semester, the Advanced Learning Center has been involved in assisting academic departments launch a number of new fully-online degree programs offered through the University of Memphis eCampus program. All of these new online programs are based on existing highly successful traditional face-to-face programs. Some of the programs we are helping to develop include:

• Bachelors in Journalism

• Masters in Health Administration

• Bachelors in History

• Bachelors in Accountancy

• Certificate Program in Real Estate

In each of these programs, the ALC augments the academic area’s content expertise by bringing in best practices in online teaching and learning along with expedited skills development by the involved faculty members. The ALC is ready to assist any academic area on campus interested in exploring new online initiatives.
