The Single Investigator/Small Team (SIST) Grant was created to act as a small scale research grant for individual faculty members or small teams of faculty working together. The proposed projects emphasize the common theme of instructional technology innovation. Grant awards vary in amount but are limited to no more than $10,000.

Faculty Grant proposals are announced and evaluated through the Advanced Learning Center in partnership with the Teaching and Learning Advisory Committee (TLAC). An important feature of the grant process is the dissemination of findings to the campus and beyond. Awarded faculty are expected to provide a written Summary Report to the Advanced Learning Center by the end of the award year that will be published on the ALC website.
