TFP

The purpose of the Technology Fellowship Program (TFP) as it was originally creates was to recognize, encourage, and reward faculty members who are leaders in the innovative use of technology in teaching and learning. The competitive process is awarded to up to ten faculty a year.

The overall vision of the Technology Fellowship Program was to create a community of practice where members excel as recognized leaders in technology integration for improved instruction in their fields.

Activities: The program consisted of a hybrid of instructional strategies: face-to-face, hands on labs, and online learning, as well a discussion, collaboration and individual opportunities to brainstorm and investigate practical applications for the use of technology in your teaching. The UoM Technology Fellows Program was one of four Communities of Practice nationally receiving consulting support and the use of iCohere, a virtual collaboration tool, from the EDUCAUSE National Learning Infrastructure Initiative (NLII).
