Pre-Game Party

The University of Memphis Houston Alumni Club is hosting a tailgate at Robertson Stadium on the campus of the University of Houston on Saturday, November 21. The tailgate starts at 10 a.m. and kick-off is at noon. The tailgate will be catered by Skeeter’s Mesquite Grill and an RSVP is required. Price for admission is $5.00 for Alumni Association Members (with card) & $10.00 for not yet members. Texas Tigers Scholarship

The Houston Alumni Club is re-launching their scholarship drive for the Texas Tigers Scholarship Fund.  The Houston Alumni Club has combined efforts with the Dallas Alumni Club to create an endowed scholarship for Texas-based students to attend the University of Memphis. Thanks to True Blue Texas Tigers, $15,000 towards the goal of $30,000 has been raised! Please consider the University of Memphis Alumni Association and the Texas Tigers Scholarship as part of your 2009 annual giving plan. Pre-Game Reception

The Houston Alumni Club hosted a pre-game reception in early March before the Tigers took on the Cougars.  The Club enjoyed a casual cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres at the University of Houston Hilton before heading to the game.
