Holiday Reception

The University College Alumni Chapter will host a Holiday Reception on Thursday, December 3 at 5:30 p.m. at the Alumni Center. The event will feature music from world renowned, classical guitarist, Lily Afshar as well as a great silent auction with a wonderful selection of items to bid on! All proceeds raised from the auction will go towards the University College book scholarship for a deserving University College student. Guests will be able to mix and mingle while enjoying plenty of holiday food and drink so please join the chapter in celebrating the holiday season! Book Scholarship

Congratulations to Michelle Williams! The University College Alumni Chapter awarded its Spring 2009 Book Scholarship to freshman Human Services major, Michelle Williams. Holiday Reception

The University College Alumni Chapter held a Holiday Reception in the Alumni Center in mid-December. Alumni, faculty and friends gathered together to share in the holiday spirit with food and drink. The result was a wonderful evening of holiday cheer with some great networking opportunities and new friendships. The Alumni Chapter would like to thank everyone that came out to the event!

Alumni Awards Celebration

The University College Alumni Chapter held an Alumni Awards Celebration on Thursday, November 8, at the Stax Museum of American Soul Music. Graduates Bill Baker ('79) and Diane Reed ('85) were honored as Outstanding Alumni.  A special award for Outstanding Service to the University College Alumni Chapter was presented to Deanie Parker.
