Race Judicata benefits Memphis Area Legal Services (MALS), which provides free legal service to the elderly and low income families. Engineering Alumni Awards & Silent Auction

A reception begins at 6:30 pm followed by dinner at 7 pm at the Holiday Inn on the U of M Campus.

Arif Shakeel (BSME '77), director of Western Digital Corporation, will receive the Outstanding Alumnus Award. Also being recognized for service to the College and to the field of engineering are Tommy Carls, Medtronic's senior vice president for Research and Development; E. Hunter Harrison, CEO of Canadian Pacific Railroad; John Ray, Jr., CareFusion's vice president for Global Research and development; and International Paper.

Tickets are $35 for Alumni Association members or $40 for not-yet members. You can sponsor a student for $25. The Alumni Chapter will present its annual Silent Auction to raise funds for its Book Scholarships. RSVP by April 10 at 901/678-4306.

Law Week Launch Party
