Pillars of Excellence Dinner

The Chapter honored six Pillars of Excellence from within the Memphis law community including: Hon. Arthur T. Bennett, Hon. David R. Farmer (BBA '63, JD '66), Albert C. Harvey, Charles F. Newman, Max Shelton, and Maurice Wexler. Jim Gilliland was recognized as Friend of the Law School. View Photos

Law Week Launch Party
The Law Alumni Chapter sponsored the Law Week Launch Party, a gathering of local legal organizations, in Court Square. Canned goods and monetary donations at the event helped support the Mid-South Food Bank.

Race Judicata 5K Run/Walk
The Law Alumni Chapter sponsored the Race Judicata at the Mississippi River Park, which benefitted Memphis Area Legal Services (MALS). Memphis Area Legal Services provides free legal service to the elderly and low income families.
Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law 50th Anniversary Celebration
The Law Alumni Chapter and the School of Law celebrated the 50th Anniversary in style in October.
