Alumni Association Spotlight: Don Baltimore (JD '74)

Attorney and University of Memphis alumnus H. LaDon (Don) Baltimore (JD ’74) combines the practice of law with his interest in government and politics by concentrating his law practice in government relations and administrative law.  Prior to entering private practice, Don was a staff attorney for the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee, and General Counsel and lobbyist for the Tennessee Bankers Association.

Don also devotes time to the American Heart Association, serving on the Board of the Heart Gala and is currently Co-Chair of the Heart Gala Society.  He and his wife were among a Sister Cities group representing Nashville and the U.S. in Caen, France.  Don has served his civic group, Sertoma, as President.

The friendships Don made at the School of Law have endured as he maintains contact with many alumni in his work.  Don has said that it is rewarding to see his law school friends become leaders in the profession. Don is married to fellow alumna Anita Wilson Baltimore (BFA ’72) and they have a daughter. Don is a University Donor and annual Alumni Association member.
