The Lambuth Campus is officially part of the University of Memphis!
An official flag-raising ceremony took place at the Lambuth Campus of the University
of Memphis on January 12. The event formalized last month’s official recording of
the deed, which transferred the property from the Lambuth University Board of Directors
to the State of Tennessee, for the benefit of the University of Memphis.
Special guests Gov. Bill Haslam, Madison County Mayor Jimmy Harris, Jackson Mayor
Jerry Gist, Tennessee Board of Regents Chancellor John Morgan, and U of M President
Shirley Raines took part in the flag raising. Click here to view photos from the event.
