Luther C. McClellan Alumni Chapter Meeting/Social
Join the Luther C. McClellan Alumni Chapter to discuss upcoming events and future

Law CLE Course Offering
The Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law Alumni Chapter, in conjunction with the Memphis
Bar Association, is hosting a Law CLE on Current Cases and Issues. The course is the
afternoon of Tuesday, July 27 at the downtown Law School. Presenters are Leslie Ballin (JD ’77), William Massey
(JD ’81), Steve Mulroy and Brian Faughnan (JD ’98). After the presentation, all alumni

UMAR Dinner
UMAR (University of Memphis Association of Retirees) members and their guests are

AuSP Alumni Chapter Reception
The School of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology Alumni Chapter will host a graduation
reception on Sunday, August 15 at the Memphis Speech and Hearing Center for graduating students. If you are interested

Engineering Alumni Chapter Professional Development
Join the Engineering Alumni Chapter on Wednesday, August 18 from noon-1 p.m. for professional development on environment air quality regulations,
presented by Bob Rogers (BSME ’82, MS ’89), P.E., Manager of Pollution Control in
the Memphis-Shelby County Health Department. Cost is $5 for Association members and
$10 for non-members, which includes lunch and 1 PDH hour. To RSVP, please contact

The U of M Young Alumni Committee is accepting nominations for new board members! If you are an alumnus of the University of Memphis under the age of 35 and are interested
in serving on the board of the Young Alumni Committee, please submit your application

Are you a parent of a current U of M student or incoming freshman? If so, join the
ranks of the Alumni Association Parents Club. Membership in the Parents Club is included

2011 School of Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology Outstanding Alumni Award Nominations
The School of Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology Alumni Chapter is seeking nominations
for its 2011 Outstanding Alumni Award recipient. This award will be presented to a
deserving AuSP graduate at the Alumni Reception at the Mid-South Conference on Communicative
Disorders in February. Deadline for submission is Wednesday, September 1. For a nomination
