Future Alumni Spotlight: Cole Roe
Cole Roe is a Sophomore Political Science major and Criminal Justice minor from Munford, TN. He is currently serving as the Executive Director of Blue Crew, the student athletic support group. "When I first got to the University I immediately jumped on board with as many organizations as I could possibly fit in to my schedule, with the one I'm most dedicated to being Blue Crew because of the excitement and passion that goes with it. I often times find myself overwhelmed with pride for the University of Memphis and every time I see a vehicle with our school logo or a student wearing their Tiger Blue on Fridays, it’s hard for me not to be excited about the future for this campus. Thanks to all of the hard work of the Alumni Association staff, the Blue Crew and its Executive Board, alumni, and fans it’s looking like it is going to be another great year to be a Memphis Tiger!"
When asked why it's important for students to get involved in Blue Crew, Roe responded, "Not every school needs a team, and not every team needs a school to be successful. But, every school and every team needs a crew - a student body that is always hyped about the city, the team, and the goal. It just so happens that the University of Memphis has the best crew: the Blue Crew."
