The Cat Is Out of the Bag!

On 9.10.11@12 noon the U of M Alumni Association Let the Cat Out of the Bag! At this event, ALL 100 of the Tiger statues were gathered on the U of M campus for the community to see together in one place.
Thank you to our Tiger family that came to welcome the Tigers to town! We would also
like to thank each of our sponsors and artists that made this project possible.
It is our hope that Tigers Around Town will not only bring many alumni back to campus
but that it will also help build awareness of the integral relationship between the
University and the city of Memphis.
To celebrate the University's Centennial, the Alumni Association will place life-size
Tiger statues all around town beginning January 2012. Each statue has been uniquely
decorated with artwork by Mid-South artists, students and alumni. The Tiger statues
are sponsored by local fans, alumni and businesses and will be on display at their
chosen locations throughout the 2012 Centennial Year!

Centennial Legacy- $5,000 - This sponsorship allows you to keep your statue. You can proudly display
it at your home or business to show your support for the University.
Celebration Level - $3,000 - This allows you or your business to sponsor a Tiger statue throughout
the Centennial Celebration - the statue will be auctioned by the Alumni Association
in the summer of 2012.
*All sponsorships will have a charitable gift value of $3,000
*Selection of Tiger designs is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Contact Alumni
