Janez Bernik is a Slovenian painter, sculptor, printmaker and poet. He studied at the Ljubljana Academy in the 1950s, where he later became a professor. He also studied in Paris with Johnny Friedlaender. His work has been included in the Venice Biennale in 1962, 1968, 1872 and 1988.
