How to Apply to the Graduate Program
Anthropology Graduate Student Handbook
This handbook is a guide for graduate students in the Master's degree program in the
Department of Anthropology at The University of Memphis. It is intended to introduce
students to the graduate program course requirements for the Master of Arts degree,
University and Department policies, procedural deadlines, and professional papers. This
handbook provides key information, but it is not an adequate substitute for the faculty
advisor; all graduate students should work closely with their faculty advisors and
degree committees to ensure that their course of study is of the highest possible
quality.
