Cadet Troop Leader Training

This three-week leadership training with selected Active Army units provides selected MSIII Cadets with first-hand knowledge of the duties, responsibilities, and lifestyle of Army junior officers.

This training is not available to Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP) Cadets. Cadets assume the duties of Second Lieutenant to obtain additional leadership experience and training.

Pay and allowances equal half the base pay of a newly commissioned Second Lieutenant. Cadets can be stationed in bases in the continental United States, as well as in Hawaii, Germany, or Korea. Training takes place immediately after the Leader Development and Assessment Course (LDAC).
