BIOGRAPHY

Brandon is an Assistant Professor of Graphic Design and has lectured at Pratt, Parsons, and SUNY Purchase in New York. He received a BFA from Louisiana Tech University and an MFA from the University of Memphis.

Brandon has been a producer and designer for print, advertising, outdoor signage, desktop & mobile applications, video, web, CD/DVD, kiosk, television, and major live events. From 1997 to 1999 he worked for a print and advertising agency in Memphis, from 1999 to 2001 at a Flash-centric interactive design consultancy in Manhattan, and from 2001 to 2011 he was owner & creative director of Design-O-Matic in NYC. Since returning to Memphis in 2011 he has been an independent digital media consultant for clients such as TED Talks, The Tony Awards, PBS, International Paper, the Stax Museum, World Bank, and ESPN.

His research interests center on continued professional practice through digital media design for web, video, motion graphics, and the production of virtual sets for LED screens used on internationally-broadcast television specials. Brandon's work has received awards from the Emmys, Webbys, One Show, and American Advertising Awards, among others.
