About the School
set cell vertical height The faculty of the School of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology are committed to providing students, the profession, and the community with innovative and high quality classroom instruction, clinical practicum, and research experience that enhance both the theoretical and applied knowledge of communication processes and disorders.

The School strives to imbue students with the fundamentals of communication processes and disorders that provoke critical thinking and problem solving leading to a love of learning. The master's degree in speech-language pathology (M.A.) and the clinical doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) emphasize theoretical and applied aspects of communication disorders that prepare graduates for clinical careers within the field and for further graduate study. At the Ph.D. level, the program emphasizes the theoretical and applied aspects of communication disorders that prepare graduates for academic research and teaching positions within the field and for post-doctoral graduate study.
