The Automatic Identification Lab

The goal of the Automatic Identification (AutoID) Laboratory is to promote the usage of all of the automatic identification technologies. Whether it be bar coding, radio frequency identification (RFID), biometrics or smart cards - the AutoID Lab is ready to help both students and companies to make the right choices.

Our BLE Saturation Test is underway and making great progress. Funded in part by the FedEx Institute of Technology's Biologistics Cluster, this study is attempting to develop an understanding of the actual (not the theoretical) point in which the number of BLE devices will begin to result in a significant impact to overall performance.
