All Biology Majors should consult with an advisor EACH SEMESTER for assistance with course scheduling, registration and career planning.

Students are responsible for fulfilling all of the requirements for the degree program and for following the procedures and regulations as stated in the Undergraduate Catalog in effect when entering college. The Undergraduate Catalog is valid for seven years.

Assistance from an advisor is helpful in planning the program of study and in selecting specific courses to be taken each semester.

Plan your coursework semester by semester:

• check prerequisites before attempting to enroll (especially upper division courses)
• take courses in the proper sequence

Biology majors should either have an assigned Faculty Advisor (see below) or go to the BARC (Biology Advising & Resource Center) for advising.

All students should go to the BARC for general information on Permits, Degree Requirements, and Career Information.
