Requesting a Recycling Bin

Whether you are a faculty member needing a recycling bin for your office, a student wanting a recycling bin in a classroom, or a staff member needing a recycle bin for an event, we can help supply recycling bins and at no cost to you. All recycling bins are purchased through the Green Fee and are readily available for placement anywhere on campus. Please check the list of recycling bins available below and follow the steps on Ordering Process. Once the order is sent, recycling bins may take up to one or two weeks if the bin is not in stock. Recycling Bin List

The Small Standard Bin
Description: Blue recycle bin for comingle recycling only. One most popular bins around campus. It can accommodate average daily use and does not take up much space.
Capacity: 16 Gal.
Dimensions: 32" H x 18" W x 11.5" Deep

The Standard Hex Bin
Description: Blue recycle bin for comingle recycling only. This bin has a hexagon shape and is the next size up from the small standard bin and one of our most popular bins.
Capacity: 29 Gal.
Dimensions: 39"h x 18"w or 30"h x 18"w

The Mega Hex Bin
Description: Blue recycle bin is labeled for comingle recycling only. This bin is best for large volume recycle areas.
Capacity: 50 Gal.
Dimensions: H- 41" W- 22"

The Slim Jim
Description: Blue recycling bin. This bin does not come with any labels, but should only collect comingle recycling. This bin is great for areas with average volume of recycling and has tall and slender in design, made to fit in tight compact places like beside a copier/printer.
Capacity: 23 Gal.
Dimensions: L- 20" W- 11in. H- 30"

The Deskside Bin
Description: Blue recycling bin. This recycling bin comes with no labels, but can be used to accommodate personal recycling needs in a small space like a small classroom or office. Use for comingle recycling only.
Capacity: 28 Quart
Dimensions: L- 15" W- 10" H- 15"

The Recycle Brute
Description: Blue, flip top, recycling container. Container is on wheels for easy transport. This bin is for comingle recycling. This bin can also be loaned for specific length of time for one-time mass cleanouts or collection and then returned to the Physical Plant via work order request.
Capacity: 95 Gal.

Description: Blue, flip top, recycling container. Container is on wheels for easy transport. This bin is for comingle recycling. This bin can also be loaned for specific length of time for one-time mass cleanouts or collection and then returned to the Physical Plant via work order request.
