Sharon D. Richardson has been a member of the Center for Athletic Academic Services staff since May 2010 as the Administrative Associate.  She was the former supervisor of the Supply and Central Receiving Department of Physical Plant.  She is also a member of the local and National Association of Purchasing Professionals. 

Sharon supports the mission of the CAAS department by supporting the Director and Associate Director in preparing documents for recruiting certification of eligibility, filing of waivers, and academic rules interpretation.  Some of the other responsibilities include managing the CAAS department budgets, human resource needs, liaison to the Athletics Department, orientation for new employees and student-athletes.  She works to create an inviting environment and informative experience for each guest that visits the Center for Athletic Academic Services. 

Sharon is a proud life-long Memphian and enjoys swimming, music, cooking and traveling.  She volunteers her time with youth and adult groups regularly.   She is a fair weather fan of outdoor sports and especially enjoys watching football.
