Current high school students and any college transfer interested in pursuing an opportunity
as a student-athlete at the University of Memphis must complete and return the following
- Complete the U of M Admissions Application online.
Please indicate in the occupation section that you are a student-athlete.
- All University of Memphis Students must show proof of 2 MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) and 2 Varicella (Chicken Pox) immunizations or proof of immunity from MMR and Varicella. New students
who will be living in a University of Memphis residence must provide documentation
of receiving a Meningitis immunization before moving into their residence. Please visit the following website for additional

- World Education Services International Academic Credential Evaluation

In order to be admitted, the Office of Admissions requires international students
from non-speaking English countries to take the TOEFL exam. Official scores must be
sent to the University of Memphis by using code 1459. The minimum required scores
are 500 (paper), 173 (computer) and 61 (IBT).
- Scholarship Tax
International students may be responsible to pay a tax on their scholarship each semester.
This tax cannot be paid by athletic scholarship; the student-athlete would be responsible
for this cost.
