Bridget VanLandeghem joined the University of Memphis staff in August of 2002 to serve as Athletic Academic Counselor for various teams. She is the counselor for men's baseball, men's golf, women's golf, women's tennis, women's volleyball, and co-ed rifle. As of October 2014, Bridget serves as the Assistant Director of CAAS and oversees the student workers, as well as training staff on academic advising and campus resources. Prior to joining the University of Memphis staff, Bridget was employed at St. Bonaventure University from 1999 through 2002 where she served as an Athletic Academic Coordinator and began her career in athletic academic services.
In addition to serving as Assistant Director, Bridget is a member of the National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletics (N4A), Orientation chair, Book Scholarship Liaison to Compliance and Campus Communication Liaison.
Originally from Paris, Illinois, Bridget is a die-hard fan of the 2016 World Champion Chicago Cubs, and an avid follower of the 2010, 2013 and 2015 Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks. She also enjoys devouring Memphis BBQ, visiting Graceland, and singing, especially "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" at FedExPark.
