National Cybersecurity Preparedness Consortium Established National Cybersecurity Preparedness Consortium Established
The UofM Center For Information Assurance (CfIA), as part of a consortium, has received a portion of a three-year, $800,000 grant to develop one new training course and update five existing training courses that will help states and communities better prepare for, detect and respond to cyber attacks. Dr. Beatrice Magnani U of M Researchers Identify Recent Activity Along Meeman-Shelby Fault
Dr. Beatrice Magnani, a seismologist with the University of Memphis Center for Earthquake Research and Information (CERI), recently led a team of earth scientists from the U of M and the University of Texas Institute for Geophysics to uncover new information related to the size, orientation and rupture history of the Meeman-Shelby Fault (MSF). Community Engagement: C.H.Nash Museum at Chucalissa and the Southwest Memphis Community Community Engagement: C.H.Nash Museum at Chucalissa and the Southwest Memphis Community 
Dr. Robert Connolly, Associate Professor in Anthropology and Director of the C.H. Nash Museum at Chucalissa, published an article in Museums and Social Issues on the last five-years of engagement between the Museum and the Southwest Memphis Community. (The journal which Connolly co-edited features articles by three other Anthropology alums.) As well, his recent blog post on this work discusses the "co-creative" nature of the engagement and links to the new website, African-American Cultural Heritage in Southwest Memphis.

THE C.H. NASH MUSEUM AT CHUCALISSA RECEIVES AMERICORPS SERVICE AWARD The C.H. NASH MUSEUM at Chucalissa receives Americorps Service Award from the NCCC AmeriCorps at the Winter Graduation Ceremony on the Southern Region campus in Vicksburg, MS.
