CONCLUDING THE HIRE
- After all approvals are obtained, mail the Offer Letter, Authorization and Disclosure
form, and Moving Expenses form (if applicable) to the candidate. You may want send
this packet by overnight or express mail.
- When the Offer Letter, Authorization and Disclosure form, Moving Expenses form (if
applicable) and Official Transcript are received in your office, the department completes
Faculty Appointment Data form.
- Forward the Offer Letter, Authorization and Disclosure form, Moving Expenses form
(if applicable) and Official Transcript, Faculty Appointment Data form, CV, and letters
of reference to the dean's office. (The CV and letters of reference may be printed
from workForum.) If a reduction in tenure was part of the offer, include a copy of
the approved tenure reduction form.
- The dean's office will forward to Faculty Academic Services.
- Faculty Academic Services will "seat" the position and set up an email account for
the appointee.
- Candidates who were not hired will receive an auto-generated email notification.
