The Dean's Office Award for Advising Excellence is presented annually to a College of Arts and Sciences faculty member who has distinguished him or herself as an effective, caring mentor for students in the College. The award is selected by a committee composed of the Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Studies, the (s/b) Coordinator of Undergraduate Student Services, and the Graduation Analyst. The award consists of a certificate and a cash amount to be deposited into the departmental account for use by the recipient.
