Blaha takes DBS research to an even higher level
Dr. Blaha is part of a research team that has taken Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS),
an established therapy for Parkinson's, a revolutionary step forward in its efficacy.
The new system, called Wireless Instantaneous Neurochemical Concentration System (WINCS),
permits the signals recorded in the brain to be transmitted wirelessly to enable researchers
to monitor and control the system.
