Outstanding Administrative Professional Employees Dean's Award Outstanding Administrative Professional Employees Dean's Award

An annual dean's Award for outstanding administrative professional service in the College of Arts and Sciences is presented at the annual Spring Staff Reception honoring the full-time administrative professional personnel in the College. The recipient(s) is/are recommended by a special committee chosen by the Dean.

Nomination letters are due in the Dean's office by April 3, 2009.

Criteria

  1. Must have been a full-time administrative professional employee in the College of Arts and Sciences for at least two years.
  2. Must possess skills and characteristics of an outstanding full-time administrative professional employee such as:
    • proficient knowledge of university policies and procedures
    • leadership
    • always professional in dealing with faculty, students and staff
    • a pleasant, caring, and helpful attitude
    • dependability
    • willing to "go the extra mile"
    • excellent communication skills
    • copes with diversity well
    • good self-esteem and confidence

The C.H. Nash Museum at Chucalissa protects and interprets the Chucalissa archaeological site. The museum provides high quality educational experiences on past and present Native American cultures of the Mid-South, and pursues new knowledge of these cultures through research as part of the University's explicitly multicultural and multiethnic educational orientation. more
