Date Requests, Meetings and Recommendations
Friday, August 28, 2009 Deans will submit a listing of all faculty applying for tenure and/or promotion to the Provost. 
Friday, August 28, 2009 Department Chairs and Department Tenure and Promotion Committee Chairs meet with the Dean at 2:30 PM.
Tuesday, September 1, 2009 Department Chairs and Committees initiate tenure and promotion review of candidates.
Thursday, October 1, 2009 Dean meets with College Committee at 1:30 pm to charge it with its responsibilities.
Friday, October 2, 2009  Recommendations of Department Chairs and Committees must be submitted to CAS Tenure and Promotions Committee
Monday, November 2, 2009 CAS Tenure and Promotions Committee recommendations due in the Dean's office.
Monday, November 23, 2009 Recommendations of Department Chairs, Department Committees, College Committees and Deans forwarded to the Provost.
Monday, January 25, 2010 Candidates notified of the Provost's recommendations.
Tuesday, February 16, 2010 Deadline to initiate an appeal
Thursday, April 1, 2010 Recommendations by Appeals Committee go to the President.
September 1, 2010 Effective date of Tenure and/or Promotion recommendations.
