Academic advisors in the College of Communication and Fine Arts take their responsibilities very seriously. We know that all of our advisors do an exceptional job, so once a year we honor one of the academic advisors in our College with the CCFA Faculty Advisor Award.

It is through student feedback that we learn about the advisors who have "made" your semester, and about the advisors who check on you diligently to make sure you will graduate on time.

This year, Lurene Kelley, assistant professor of journalism, received CCFA's highest advising honor.
