When do I need to see the Graduation Analyst?
You want to think about getting ready for graduation a year before you plan to graduate.
If you are unsure if you have met all the requirements, the Graduation Analyst or College Advisor will make a graduation plan for you. This plan will tell you which classes you still
need to complete to fulfill your degree requirements. You will need to have a final
graduation check out appointment with the Graduation Analyst after you file your intent
to graduate in the penultimate semester before your graduating semester.

I filed my Intent to Graduate, what now?
Pay all University fees. Following the end of the semester, determine if you have
any outstanding debts with the Bursar's Office(901) 678-5579. Any financial obligation to the University will delay the release
of your diploma.
Visit the Commencement Web site where you check your name on the "program proof" for correct degree, honor(s) designation,
and spelling of your name as you want it on your diploma.
Compare your name in the central computer system Spectrum/Banner with your diploma name. Any deviation from the name on the diploma and the name in
Spectrum/Banner will result in the delay of your diploma until the names match.
Students attending the Commencement ceremony must complete the attendance card in
order to be seated with their college. Your name card will be completed after you
have filed your attendance card online.
Visit the Commencement Web site to find out the dates and times during which you can
pick up your personalized pronouncer name card and your cap and gown in the Pan-Hellenic
Building, room 115.
You must submit your Diploma Mailing Card and the Career Services Survey Form online
to ensure prompt delivery of your diploma. The Commencement Office will mail out diplomas. Contact your College Analyst for change
in address or questions regarding your degree status. Changes in honors or other printing
corrections will be ordered automatically.
You may also fill out the Graduating Student Information News Release and the Alumni
Information Form. Information provided here will be used to publicize the graduation
of University of Memphis students in hometown newspapers. If you wish information
