Dr. Tim Ryan is an Assistant Professor of Sport and Leisure Management in the Department of Health and Sport Sciences at The University of Memphis. He received his B.A. in Mathematics from Wheaton College in Illinois, his M.S. in Sport Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi, and his Ph.D. in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sport Management from Texas A&M University. BeHis research interests lie in the areas of work satisfaction of coaches and customer satisfaction. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals, such as the JoSport Management Review, Injury Prevention, Team Performance Management and the International Journal of Sport Management. He has also made several presentations at national and international academic conferences, such as the annual meetings of the North American Society for Sport Management (NASSM), the Sport Marketing Association (SMA), and the College Sport Research Institute (CSRI) conference. He is the currently the coordinator for the Sport and Leisure Management unit.
