There are nearly 3,000 students majoring in programs offered through the College of
Education, Health and Human Sciences, and hundreds more students are enrolled in our
classes seeking to add additional endorsements to their teacher license as graduate
non-degree students. Only a little more than half of our students are pursuing degrees
that lead to K-12 teaching licenses. The College of Education, Health and Human Sciences
offers an array of programs for students majoring in Adult Education, Counseling,
Counseling Psychology, Educational Research, Health and Sport Sciences, Higher Education,
School Supervision and Leadership.
All students seeking initial teacher license should work with the Office of Teacher Education and Student Support Services from admissions through applying for their teacher license. All other students should
work through the department of their major for admission and advising.
