The Master of Science (M.S.) program in Educational Psychology and Research invites applicants with an undergraduate degree
from a range of diverse fields. Applicants to the M.S. program should demonstrate
strong college writing skills and a well-rounded academic performance. To apply, please
complete the Graduate School online application in addition to the program application form for the M.S. program.
The Educational Psychology concentration also has a unique online M.S. program. The online degree programs at the University of Memphis include students from across
the United States and around the globe. The academic requirements for the online program
are identical to those for the traditional program, and your transcript will not reflect

The Ph.D. program in Educational Psychology and Research welcomes applicants with a Master’s degree from
diverse fields of inquiry. Applicants to the Ph.D. program should demonstrate a strong
commitment to conducting research in the intended concentration areas. In addition
to meeting the requirements of the Graduate School, the program requires three recommendation letters by the university professors who
know the applicant well. The applicant should demonstrate strong graduate school writing
skills and a well-rounded academic performance. Applicants should complete the Graduate School online application in addition to the program application form for Ph.D. program.
Both the master's and doctoral programs follow the Graduate School admission guidelines. Admissions deadlines are November 1 and April 1. International applicants are encouraged to submit applications by November 1 if
financial aid is desired. Limited graduate assistantships are available.
