October 4, 2017: The University of Memphis Board of Trustees approved the transition of our Ed.D. in Counselor Education to Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision at its Oct. 4 meeting on campus.
September 14, 2017: The Annual Journal of Youth and Adolescence 2017 Emerging Scholar Best Article Award was given to CEPR's very own Dr. Chia-chen Yang for her paper "Online Self-Presentation on Facebook and Self Development during the College Transition" co-authored with Dr. B. September 14, 2017: Along with colleagues in the Department of Social Work, Dr. Steve Zanskas has been awarded a Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training (BHWET) Program grant. The total award is $1,917,762 and will be distributed over a four-year period September 1, 2017 – August 31, 2021.
July 2017: CEPR Department Chair Dr. Steve West assumed the position of President of the Board of the Commission for Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC). West has been a member of the CRCC Board since 2014.
July 2017: Dr. Steve Zanskas has been named the Chair of the Ethics Committee of the Commission for Rehabilitation Counselor Certification.
