  • 05/12/2015: Saheel Bhana published a cancer therapeutic paper "Near-infrared-absorbing gold nanopopcorns with iron oxide cluster core for magnetically amplified photothermal and photodynamic cancer therapy" on ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces.  Congratulations, Saheel!

  • 04/15/2015: Saheel Bhana has been selected for an appointment to the Summer Student Research Program at the National Center for Toxicological Research (NCTR), US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). He is one of the 17 recipients out of more than 200 national applicants. What an honor! Congratulations, Saheel!

  • 04/07/2015: Dr. Huang received a NIH R15 grant as a principle investigator. This is a three-year project with a total amount around $400K. It is founded to support the research on developing new technologies for capture, detection and analysis of circulating tumor cells, in collaboration with Prof. Yongmei Wang in the Department of Chemistry and Prof. Bashir Morshed in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Congratulations!
