About Dr. Wells

Lenard Wells graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee with a BA in Psychology. He continued his graduate education at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and earned a master's degree in Public Administration. Lenard earned both degrees while working full-time on the Milwaukee Police Department. Lenard obtained his PhD in Leadership, Learning, and Service from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee.

Lenard retired from the Milwaukee Police Department after 27 years of service as a Lieutenant of Police. After retiring from the Milwaukee Police Department, he was appointed by Governor Jim Doye of Wisconsin to Chair the Wisconsin Parole Board.
