Piano & Art Camp offers young piano students the opportunity to develop their playing
skills, learn more about the fundamentals of music theory, composition and history
and share in the joy of making music together. Participants will be coached in solo
and ensemble repertoire.
Camp participants will also have the opportunity to express their creativity through
multi-media art classes. Students will use clay, paper, paint, found objects and
more to create amazing works of art. All materials and supplies will be provided.
During Orff class, students will experience music, which will help develop style and
sense of musical pulse. It combines music, movement, drama and speech into lessons
that are fun and exciting.
Music theory and history will be taught in a fun atmosphere through the use of games.
Camp will conclude with a student recital and art show for family and friends.
Piano & Art Camp is a great way to have fun, make new friends and improve piano/keyboard
skills – all at the same time!
