To receive your diploma:
- Meet all degree requirements to be certified for graduation.
- Pay all University fees. Clear any indebtedness through the Bursar's Office, 678-5579. Transcripts and diplomas
will be held until you are free of debt to the University.
- Check your name on the program proofs on this web site for correct degree, honor(s), and spelling of your name as you want
it on your diploma. Also check to make sure the name listed matches the name that
the Registrar has on record for you! They must match including middle name and any
suffix (Jr, III etc). Please read the Registrar's Policy on name changes.
- Update your Diploma Mailing Address within your ITG form online with the appropriate address you wish to use 3 (three)
months after graduation. Please click HERE for the online form.
The diploma will be mailed to you by August 1 for May graduates, by November 1 for
August graduates and by March 1 for December graduates. Changes in honors or other
printing corrections will be reordered automatically.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to ongoing problems with damage and non-deliveries, we are not able to mail
diplomas to addresses in the immediate surrounding area of the University of Memphis
(i.e. Brister, Highland, Mynders, Southern, Patterson). Students residing in this
area must either pick up their diplomas from the Commencement Office or contact the
office to provide an alternative mailing address.
Pick Ups: Students may pick up their diploma, if they prefer. However, you must email commencement@memphis.edu stating that you want to pick it up. Provide full name, college, phone number and
or email address.
Diplomas are mailed two-three months after graduation. Contact us between two-three
months after graduation, if you have not received yours.
