Faculty Members participating in May Commencement and Faculty Convocation

It’s time to order regalia for May 5, 2012’s 100^th Commencement and April 20, 2012’s Centennial Faculty Convocation. Regalia orders will be taken via email at commencement@memphis.edu. No prepayment is required at the time your order is placed. The deadline for all orders is Monday, April 2^nd(NO Late orders accepted and cannot be accepted due to the quick turnaround for all events).

Location: FedEx Forum

Morning Ceremony-10 a.m. (arrive by 9:30 a.m.) and Afternoon Ceremony-3 p.m. (arrive by 2:30 p.m.)

Price, pickup and return

To commemorate the University’s Centennial, the Commencement Office and its vendor will offer regalia for all faculty members at a reduced rate of only $19.12. All orders must be made by the deadline and checks must be made to Graduate Supply House, when you pick up your order. When you contact us, provide your full name, terminal Degree and institution, height, cap size (range from 20 to 24.5), do you need the regalia for Faculty Convocation, Commencement or both? Have you ordered in the past through our office?

Wednesday, April 18^th and Thursday, April 19^th (8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.) from 800 Wilder Tower

When you arrive to cap and gown pick up on either date, precede to the last step. Faculty members do not need to stop at other tables.

Return regalia after Faculty Convocation (if not using for other events in the spring semester) or if attending Commencement, return at the FedEx Forum immediately following the ceremony.

 Note from our vendor: When you place an order, it is your responsibility to pay. No cancellations allowed. Please ensure you will be in attendance to avoid paying for unneeded regalia.

Special Note: Alternate (backup) date if Forum occupied on Saturday by Grizzlies due to Playoff schedule game or regular season game Commencement would be held on:

12 p.m. (Arts and Sciences, University College, Communication and Fine Arts, and doctoral hoodings for these colleges) –arrive at 11:30 a.m.

5 p.m. (Business, Education, Engineering, Nursing, School of Public Health, School of Communication Sciences and Disorders and doctoral hoodings for these colleges and schools)—arrive at 4:30 p.m.
